BGF part of the conference 'Renewable Energy, a Challenge for Kosovo?' by the French Embassy

Balkan Green Foundation participated in the conference "Renewable Energy, a Challenge for Kosovo?" organized by the French Embassy in the framework of Francophonie Week.

Pranvera Selimi from Balkan Green Foundation, along with other panelists, discussed the challenges and opportunities for the development of renewable energy in Kosovo.

Ms. Selimi highlighted some of Kosovo's key economic, legal, technical and social challenges to the zero-carbon energy transition, and how these challenges need to be overcome in order to attract foreign investment and use international donor funds to develop this sector.

Ms. Selimi marked "BGF constantly participates in activities aimed at raising awareness on energy transition. Renewable energy needs to receive more attention from both the government and investors because it is central for sustainable development."
