Balkan Green Foundation took part in the 2nd annual MAP (Multi Actor Partnership) conference organized by its partner, Germanwatch (GW). The aim of the conference was to bring together all the MAP partner organizations from different countries and continents and the implementers of the projects together in a virtual two day conference and workshop module where the exchange of ideas, project results, as well as challenges and practical means on how to overcome them were discussed and recommendations presented.
Rinora Gojani, Programmes and Operations Manager at BGF during her addressing emphasized the importance of the energy transition and decarbonization through multi-stakeholder approaches as the main methodology for concrete results.
Balkan Green Foundation jointly with Germanwatch are implementing the three yearlong project “Multi Actor Partnership (MAP) for the Energy Transition in Kosovo”, supported by Engagement Global and financed by BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development). The aim of this project is to contribute towards a faster energy transition in Kosovo by using the methodology of stakeholder alignment cooperation and interaction, by jointly creating a roadmap for the energy transition in Kosovo through concrete policy recommendations as well as through practical lighthouse project that can be replicated at large by the society.
