In a momentous collaboration, Balkan Green Foundation (BGF), alongside Open Data Kosovo and Lëvizja Fol, proudly launched the 'Kosovo Green Action' project on November 30, supported by the World Bank through the GPSA grant. This groundbreaking three-year endeavour is poised to redefine the landscape by revolutionizing information access, fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration, enhancing transparency, and fortifying accountability—all in the pursuit of a greener and more sustainable Kosovo.
At the project's kick-off, Dardan Sejdiu, Board Member at BGF, delivered an opening speech, emphasizing the project's monumental significance for Kosovo. Fijona Kurshumliu, Project Coordinator at BGF, then unveiled the ambitious plans, ranging from youth capacity building and public official training to the installation of solar panels at a selected school—an embodiment of a comprehensive and forward-thinking strategy.
