BGF raises concern over the poor air quality in Kosovo

BGF representative, Besfort Kosova, for the central news on the ATV channel, emphasized the gravity of the current situation of air pollution in Kosovo.

BGF underlined the genesis of the issue of the poor quality of air, listing the burning of fossil fuels, power plants and old cars as just some of the main factors of air pollution.

To address the problem, the BGF recommends the government to ban coal sales, identify environmentally friendly alternatives, stimulate new and green technologies such as the use of heat pumps, and implement energy efficiency measures.
