02 November 2020

Balkan Green Foundation Project Coordinator, Mrs. Kaltrina Salihu, has participated in the fifth Regional Youth Leadership Forum (RYLF) held in Novi Sad, Serbia from 30 October to 2 November 2020.

The Regional Youth Leadership Forum is an annual conference, which brings together young opinionated leaders, action-oriented, and socially active individuals from the WB6 countries in order to engage in discussion on salient topics and develop solutions based on previous knowledge and active social participation.

This year the forum focused on the economy, highlighting the Common Regional Market (CRM) to be approved at the Sofia Summit on 10 November 2020.

Being part of regional programs and projects of Balkan Green Foundation, and witnessing the need and the interest of the youth from Kosovo for regional cooperation, Mrs. Salihu emphasized the need for an integrated approach in implementing the Common Regional Market Action Plan, by involving the existing mechanisms in place in all WB6 countries, such as CSOs, business community, and institutions through the process to ensure strengthening of the existing structures and avoid overlapping and repetition of the present initiatives.
