Information Session on RISE Call for Application

Balkan Green Foundation, as one of the regional implementing incubators of the Regional Incubator for Social Entrepreneurs (RISE) project, today held the information session on call for application that aims to gather social business ideas from youngsters. RISE is a project for the motivated, committed youth, willing to learn and change things for the betterment of the Western Balkans. We aim to support your social business ideas that will make the region a better place. RISE Journey is a specially tailored programme that is free-of-charge to participate in and it will help you learn, grow, and make a change in your surroundings.

Some of the most frequently asked questions around the program are: 

  • Who can apply?

Young people 18-35 with ideas and commitment to the development of social entrepreneurship.

  • From which municipalities in Kosovo?

Young people from all municipalities of Kosovo.

  • Are the sectors and activities specific / limited?

Ideas and activities can be in different sectors. There are no restrictions.

  • Do we have to apply as a group / individual?

As a group with at least 2 members.

  • Do existing businesses or initiatives apply?

Only those initiatives that have a social aspect and that are at the beginning of the activity.

  • What does the RISE program include?

Idea or idea development phase, Market Idea Incubation or testing phase, mentoring, training, liaison, regional mobility, and initial grant.
