Job Vacancy: Senior Researcher

Balkan Green Foundation is inviting applicants to apply for a Senior Researcher position. The candidate should be available to start working from April 2024 at its offices located in Prishtina.
Position Description
The Senior Researcher will leverage their expertise in sustainable development and stakeholder engagement to undertake various research, dialogue, and learning activities that support the green transition. This includes addressing key areas such as energy, decarbonization, climate resilience, circular economy, and environment protection. Working closely with the BGF team, partners and
other stakeholders, the Senior Researcher will utilize evidence-based research to inform and influence policy and practice. They will also assume leadership responsibilities for ongoing action-research and stakeholder dialogue projects, while actively engaging in fundraising efforts for BGF’s research work.

The 'Kosovo Green Action' project is supported by World Bank within the Global Partnership for Social Responsibility (#GPSA) grant and implemented by Balkan Green Foundation in partnership with Lëvizja FOL and Open Data Kosovo. The project aims to improve accountability and transparency in the implementation of the Green Agenda, as well as improve access to information regarding energy and climate.
Në kuadër të projektit, BGF seeks to engage an external consultant in the capacity of a researcher to conduct assessment reports on Kosovo's progress on the green agenda, informing project activities.
